When I started my education at Bronx Community College (BCC), I was hungry for academic excellence and leadership success. I did not know how to achieve it and someone recommended that I seek assistance from Oyindamola Shoola. Oyin assisted me beyond what I sought from her.
When I met Oyindamola, I was a mother of three and had just started school after being out of school for over a decade. She assisted me with time management, resume writing, leadership and professional development programs, leadership speech writing, and most of my scholarship essays. She created a plan of activities I should do each year of college to achieve my scholarship goals and I followed it to the letter.
By the time I was graduating from Bronx Community College, I had gained admissions at New York University (NYU) with over $100,000 in scholarships. Notably, I was selected as a scholar for the All New York State Coca-Cola Awards and got a gold medal 🥇 and was a semi- finalist for the Jack Kent Cooke $40,000 scholarship and more.
